It’s a Touchy Subject, It’s a Sticky Situation, There Are No Appropriate Titles For This Post

Have you ever accidentally checked someone out that you aren’t supposed to?

So I have this friend, and he was telling me what happened to him at the bar last weekend. He was hanging out with his roommates and friends, having some beers, shooting the shit…you know, the usual. In between sips, his eyes panned around the bar, checking out any girl within eyeshot.

You know, the usual.

Nice…nice…yikes…eh, not bad…hottie…decent…nic- [record scratches] Whoops!

Turns out my friend eyed some girl, she turned around a second later, and he realized he had just checked out his roommate’s girlfriend.

Awkward.

So my friend doesn’t know what to do. He’s thinking about blogging about it. He’s hoping that the roommate, his girlfriend, and the other 14 readers of this his blog will read it, laugh, and then get distracted by something so that they forget all about it.

    former roommate stands up straight and attempts to look sincere and not shady.

    beautiful girl arrives.

    your (friend’s) current roommate turns around and sees beautiful girl.

    beautiful girl leans over and gives current roommate a kiss hello, and former roommate a quizzical look.

    former roommate has a major embolism upon realizing that said beautiful girl is your (friend’s) current roommate’s girlfriend.

    former roommate spends the rest of the evening trying to seem sincere and not shady.

    former roommate fails miserably…
